Some Wonderful, Great Memories Of Our Beloved Friend and Number One DoGG- Spyder!
Spyder has THE softest ears! They are like velvet!
Spyder loves to talk to us.....I don't know how to describe it in writing but it's
sorta a little noise he makes a few times in a row....very cute!
Spyder loved watching TV - especially if there were animals on it.
He even had a "Jack Hanna collection" so he could see his fave animals
anytime he wanted.
The very first time we noticed Spyder really watching TV and paying
attention to it was when Figure Skating was on way back when he was just
a little tiny puppy. It was pretty cute!
The last full length movie that Spyder sat and watched was the new
Charlotte's Web. He absolutely loved Wilbur.
Spyder also enjoyed watching 101 Dalmations, Wizard of Oz and any other
movie with animals in it. He even watched Animal Planet.
Spyder loved to spoon with his humans! We remember him spooning with
anyone who asked him too- from our nieces and nephews to our friends and
other family. He is a big lover and enjoyed all of the attention he
got from everyone. Spyder loved his doGG sister Shadow and his doGG
brother Libby.
Spyder would bark like a big mean doGG when someone would
knock on the door but once they were inside, he would ly down and wait
for a tummy rub. If you stopped rubbing his tummy he would look up at you
like "Hey get back here!"
Spyder layed in the kitchen on a rug and watched me
do dishes every time I did them.
He is great company!
Spyder loved to go for car rides.
Spyder had fun popping bubbles when we would blow them for him and Shadow.
He would sit in the back seat and rest his front leg (arm) on the arm rest just
like us humans do. He looked so cute.
All three of our dogs are spoiled and each have their very own sleeping space.
Spyder has a baby crib mattress in the living room with Tweety sheets and pillow.
He loves that bed. He has another one in the bedroom that he sometimes shares
with Shadow. That one is a double mattress so he could have an extra step jumping
up onto our bed. Ever since his arthritis, his leg hurts a lot and it has been harder
for him to jump and run. He also found great comfort in hanging out in his kennel which
he of course has blankets and pillows in. Spyder also claimed our bedroom closet
as "his" room- he has many blankets and pillows in there. And lastly, Spyder loved
sleeping in bed with his humans. He would jump on the bed all happy and knew
where his "spot" is. We would tell him "get in your spot Spydey" and he would
go behind my legs and curl up there and keep me warm all night long.
Shadow has now taken over Spyder's room It is very interesting because she never
went in there until now. Libby has begun sleeping behind my legs like Spyder use to.
It is interesting how things change.
I can still hear Spyder drinking water- his long slurps.... slurp, slurp, slurp! slurp! slurp!
I will hear those slurps forever!
Spyder loves life so much and other creatures that he had pets of his own!
Spyder loved to lay on the floor and watch the others. At one time we had a tiny tree frog
and we called it Spyder's pet because he is so intrigued by just sitting there watching it.
We had hamsters when Spyder and Shadow were puppies and Spyder would sit
for hours and watch them run around in their ball or play in their cage.
He liked watching our goldfish too. He sometimes would sit and watch Libby - Lib would
run around like a mad man with his toys squeaking them all the way from one room
to another. I wonder what Spyder was thinking watching his crazy little brother.
Spyder loves food, especially his dog food from Three Dog Bakery! If you haven't

Spyder loves beer. He has tasted so many different kinds of micro-brews and other beers.
He is Steve's buddy. Everytime Steve had a beer, he would ask Spydey if he wanted
some and Spydey would get all excited shaking his tail and smiling and came right up
to Steve for a taste. I think Sunshine Wheat is Spydey's favorite!
Spyder loves treats. He could sit, lay down, jump, get the squirrel, and run all on command.
He also could bark on command and when we would say "what?", he would bark....then
we would just keep saying "what" after each bark and he would keep on. Very Cute!
When Spyder was around kids- he adored them. He loved all the little ones he met.
The last baby Spyder met was Gunnison. It was super cute because he just wanted
to give Gunnison lots of kisses all over. Spyder is very gentle with everyone.
I remember our niece and nephew riding him like a pony when they were smaller.
Spyder is a very kind, patient soul who loved all of the attention he got no matter
what it was or by whom.
Spyder is more than just a doGG or pet, he is part of our family as
is our other two doGGz.
He is a real gem and is greatly missed!

On the morning that I dropped Spyder off at the vet for his blood tests
and x-rays, I went to work then got a call from the vet saying to get to
their office as he had some devastating news to inform us of. I went
immediately to pick up Steve from work and on the way, this certain song
came on the radio. It is called "The Sun Will Set For You" by Linkin Park.
It was beautiful and made me cry and I feel like it was written in honor
of Spyder. With that said, the lyrics to that song are below.
